Often times, frontotemporal dementia is associated with parkinsonism features such as bradykinesia and rest tremor. I wonder whether these symptoms respond to Sinemet, like a typical Parkinson's disease. Or it is more similar to atypical parkinsonism, which would not respond to Sinemet?

From what I have read, just like other parkinsons plus syndromes, it does not respond to Sinemet. I wonder why there is a difference though in the response to sinemet in PD versus Parkinsons plus syndromes?
